Logo

The main signature is amace. The version amacerj is used when the piece needs to make clear that the association is from Rio de Janeiro. Use the symbol alone only in very small spaces (avatar, favicon, seal), and never in place of the full signature on an institutional piece.

Do

  • Use on a light background, dark background or photo, choosing the version that ensures contrast.
  • Scale down while keeping the proportions: at least 24 px tall on screen, 8 mm in print.
  • Leave a clear margin around it equal to the height of the a of the lettering.

Don't

  • Recolor it, or add a gradient, outline, shadow or glow.
  • Distort, slant, rotate or rearrange the symbol and lettering.
  • Place it on a background that clashes with the colors, or inside a box that is not part of the brand.

Colors

Click any value to copy it. The Pantone for each color is the closest match available, and next to it we say how close it is. The calculation is ΔE 2000, the standard measure of difference between two colors. Before finalizing a file for the printer, check it against the physical swatch book.

Typography

AMACE uses two typefaces. Maurício is used for titles in institutional materials. Quicksand handles everything else: the website, emails, receipts and everyday materials.

Aa

Maurício

Titles and headlines in institutional materials.

Circus, theater, dance and sports for the children of Rio.

Maurício is a commercial typeface from typefactory, so the file is not distributed here. To use it in a piece, license it directly from the foundry.

Aa

Quicksand Regular

Body text, captions and labels.

Circus, theater, dance and sports for the children of Rio.

Aa

Quicksand Bold

Highlighted numbers, buttons and subtitles.

Circus, theater, dance and sports for the children of Rio.

Quicksand is also available from Google Fonts: fonts.google.com/specimen/Quicksand

Course illustrations

Each AMACE course has its own drawing, in the brand's red stroke. Use them in articles, posts and materials about the courses. Download as SVG (vector, for any size) or as a 1000 px PNG with a transparent background.

All of them are also included in the full kit ZIP, in the folder ilustracoes-dos-cursos.

Characters

The little illustrated characters that appear across the website, and the avatars in the donor area. Use them in posts and materials to bring AMACE's welcoming tone.

Background illustrations

The wavy lines and the blob that sit behind photos and sections of the website. Apply them very light, behind the content.

Files

All PNGs have transparent backgrounds. If you need a vector file, another version of the brand signature or material that isn't here, write to contato@amacerj.org.br.
