About the course

The AMACE residential electricity course teaches how to do electrical installations and repairs at home safely. It is for anyone who wants to learn a profession in high demand, work on their own, or take care of the wiring in their own home.

What the classes are like

Classes combine explanation with bench practice. Students learn to read circuits, size wires and circuit breakers, and install outlets, switches and lighting, always putting safety standards first.

Structure

The course covers the basics of electricity, materials and tools, home installations, distribution panels, fault finding and workplace safety. The days and times for each class are announced when enrollment opens. At the end, students receive a certificate.
