About the course
AMACE's tennis brings children, young people and adults a sport that many people never had the chance to try. Classes are free and require no experience: just show up and get started.
What the classes are like
Classes work on coordination and the fundamentals of the game, such as grip, forehand, backhand, serve and footwork, with court drills and group games. The teacher follows each student and adapts the training to their level.
Structure
The course is ongoing, with hands-on classes on the court. The days and times for each class are announced when enrollment opens.
Who teaches
Jorge Gomes teaches tennis at AMACE. With patience and encouragement, he introduces the sport to beginners and shows that the court is also a place for discipline, perseverance and friendship.
