About the course
AMACE's circus brings circus arts to children and young people: juggling, balance, acrobatics and clowning. It is an activity to loosen up, build confidence and be part of a group, no experience needed.
What the classes are like
Classes start with a warm-up and games, then move on to juggling, balance, floor acrobatics and clown games, always respecting each student's pace. Everyone discovers what they like most and, little by little, puts together acts to perform as a group.
Structure
The course is ongoing, with hands-on group classes and performances to show what was learned. The days and times for each class are announced when enrollment opens.
Who teaches
Caio Avillis and Xulipa the Clown have taken AMACE's circus to more than 100 shows. In class, they teach with play and care, showing that art is also discipline, courage and teamwork.
